RPYA’s staff and supporters are very excited to share that our Executive Director, Reverend Benita Ramsey, has been chosen as Grand Marshall of Palm Springs Pride 2022!

Reverend Benita has faithfully led the longest running LGBTQIA organization in the Inland Empire, Rainbow Pride Youth Alliance, for over 12 years. RPYA provides safe spaces, counseling, activities, and resource support to LGBTQIA youth in Riverside County and San Bernardino County. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Rev. Benita committed RPYA in full force to protecting our wider Inland Empire family under a disaster relief project known as Unity Hope, which continues today. Over the last two years RPYA has grown steadily in our region, expanding services and growing from a yearly average of 3 staff to over 20. It takes a lot of work, time, and money to build a safe, healthy, and happy LGBTQIA youth population.
